In Level D, vocabulary from levels A, B and C is now used to extend cultural and informative vocabulary. Grammatical concepts continue to be developed to achieve a higher level of conversation, reading, and writing skills. In this level, regular verbs are now conjugated in the past tense and certain irregular verbs are conjugated in the present tense. In Level D the Spanish language takes on a whole new feel as the students embark upon a journey through Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America. New vocabulary and grammar is acquired as the student reads cultural and informational text for each country. Each lesson wraps-up with an enrichment activity whereby a typical recipe for that country is presented. These recipes can easily be prepared in class as shown here.
The workbook provides challenging exercises to enhance the students reading and writing skills as they correlate with the student book.
The lesson-by-lesson evaluations provide an efficient tool to measure the students level of comprehension of the informational and cultural text, together with its corresponding vocabulary and grammar.
These beautiful, colorful transparencies provide a powerful visual aid that will spark classroom conversations and reinforce what is being learned in the student book.
